If this is your first doll, and you have any ideas that you want her to stand up, please tighten the joints and stand feet. The force required to move them will shock you, but it’s nothing compared to moving about 80-100 pounds of jelly without a stable center of gravity.
If you want a bedmate who is not interested in dynamic standing or posing, please relax. Or normal, it will soon become loose.
I think there are some differences between brands, but they are not enough to make the “relaxed” requirements for one brand “tighter” for another brand, and vice versa.
