1. Any water-based lube should be okay. Some people seem to prefer thicker ones (sometimes marketed for anal use) because they might last longer without drying out.
2. Yes, there are very many brands, and each one chosen according to their experience, price, and availability. For water-based lubes, personally, I use AQUAGLIDE from Joy Division, which is easily found on Amazon. Available in a 200ml tube, or more economical, in a 1L bottle.
