1. I chose Katie as it is my favourite female name, and ties back to the Final Fantasy female characters that influenced my life & dream girl.
Michelle was chosen because she is the favourite female name of mine. My new doll will be Jessica & Emily, two more of my favourite female names.
Madeline looked like a mini Madeline Kahn to me.
2. Janie/Jane (Janine) – Named for the Jefferson Starship song, and the group Jane’s Addiction/Porno for Pyros
Quinn – Named her from the MTV Cartoon Daria’s sister. Also, it’s kind of a hint for Mannequin.
Lisa – Her original owner called her Lisa, I kept the name it was fitting for her.
Krisann – The name kind of popped in my head when I was putting her together.
3. Inspiration can come from a number of places, film & TV or celebrities. Sometimes you can look into her eyes and a name may pop into your head! You can also ask for help in the sex doll forum by posting some pics and asking for suggestions. I did that on Twitter with one of my gals then picked 2 of the most popular suggestions which are how Eleste Elise got her name, eventually, something will come that suits her, sometimes it’s right there and sometimes it takes a few days!
4. I wanted to name all my dolls after gems, but I’m still curious about some so I decided to start with some names that I liked so gave them the nickname doll face.
5. I use the Memo feature on my phone. When I hear or see a name I like, I add it to my memo list. I end up with a list of a dozen names or so.
After I get my new doll all cleaned up and dressed (this includes new makeup). I get the list and read each name allowed while looking at the doll. Most of the names will fall quickly as the doll just doesn’t look like a Becky or Sheila. If 2 or three names seem to be a good fit, then wait a day and repeat the process with those few names and one will rise to the top.
The name is an important part of the bond I have with my dolls. Worth a little work to get it right.
